Rumen Petkov - Guest of President's Club

On 29 January, members of President's Club Bulgaria had the opportunity to meet with Mr Rumen Petkov, a Bulgarian politician and founder of the Alternative for Bulgarian Revival party, whose ideologue is Georgi Parvanov, President of the Republic of Bulgaria. He also served as Minister of Interior of Bulgaria during the Triple Coalition from 2005.

The subject of the meeting focused primarily on the energy situation in the country, as well as options for change and opportunities to improve the energy balance. A lively discussion ensued, clarifying the current state of affairs and the short-term plan in the country's energy policy. Many interesting facts were also shared concerning the choices before Bulgaria's politicians and citizens in this area.
