Visit to the Concert Performance of Vasko Vasilev (26.11.2019, Hall 1, NDK)

Members of President's Club Bulgaria had the opportunity to enjoy the spectacular show of our virtuoso violinist – Vasko Vasilev, who presented his new album "Passion Flamenca". The concert was part of a national tour by the renowned violinist, and joining him on stage were Viktor Valеho (trumpet, piano, bass), Juan Eredia (percussionist), and David (guitar). The group has concerts in Poland and Spain.
Vasko Vasilev is a world-renowned master of the violin. In 1994, he became the youngest concertmaster of the orchestra of the Royal Opera House – London, with which he regularly performs as a soloist as well. He performs both classical works and music with a more modern sound. He plays equally well on both the classical violin and the violin whose sound is enriched and amplified through electronic means. He has performed at concerts in more than 40 countries. He is a teacher in London and Valencia. He is the author of the biographical book "Vasko @ 40 + 5". Over the years he has worked and recorded with musicians of the caliber of Plácido Domingo, Sting, Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones, Vanessa Mae, Paco Peña, Erasure, as well as a vast repertoire of film music.
In October 2016, he was awarded the Order of Saints Cyril and Methodius, First Class, by President Rosen Plevneliev. Upon receiving the honor, Vasilev stated: "I have other awards as well, but for me the Cyril and Methodius award – after all, this is a Bulgarian award – is the most cherished."
