Guest at President's Club Bulgaria - Prof. Ivo Hristov

On 05.05.2020, the guest of President's Club (remotely via a video conferencing platform) was Mr. Ivo Hristov.

Prof. Ivo Hristov holds a master's degree in law and a doctorate in the sociology of law from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". He teaches numerous disciplines at Plovdiv University "Paisii Hilendarski" and Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". He completed specialization programmes at the International Law Institute in Washington, D.C., USA (2000), the Moscow School of Political Studies – Council of Europe: Moscow–Stockholm–Strasbourg (2002), the University of Urbino "Carlo Bo" in Urbino, Italy (2005), and the Neuwaldegg Institute in Vienna (2007). Member of Parliament in the 44th National Assembly and expert associate of the Legal Affairs Committee for the 38th, 39th, 40th and 41st National Assembly. He is currently a member of the committees on economic policy and tourism and on education and science. He has very active legislative activity.

Prof. Hristov spoke on the current topics of the day, as always with highly interesting and well-argued perspectives. Members had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussion with their guest.
