Annual Public Initiative '2024

On 18 May 2024, the traditional annual public initiative of President's Club Bulgaria was held, dedicated this year to the cleaning and renovation of one of Sofia's most visited mineral fountains – the St. George Fountain in the Knyazhevo district, the work of sculptor Rusi Dundakov.

The club members took on the task of beautifying the area around the fountain. They installed new posts that separated parking from the green space and spread gravel to level the ground. They cleaned all the paths leading to the fountain, added soil, and planted grass. In addition to repainting the old benches, they also placed another new one to provide additional seating for visitors.

Several citizens joined with a desire to help, adding to the club's energy and motivation. Later, employees of Sofia Municipality also joined the initiative, assisting with cleaning the surroundings. The event left all participants with a sense of solidarity and satisfaction with what was accomplished.
