Training – Seminar on the Topic of "The Psychology of Leadership and Subordination"

Vasily Skvortsov, a consultant on management matters for the Russian giants Gazprom, Lukoil, and Avtogaz, will conduct a training seminar unique to Bulgaria on 7 and 8 November in Sofia. The world-renowned Russian psychologist is visiting our country for the first time at the invitation of the Academy "President". Over the two seminar days, the guru of Russian corporate management will reveal to participants the psychological foundations of management. He will introduce representatives of the domestic business community to the principles of effective management grounded in an understanding of the social and psychological patterns of managerial activity. The long-standing psychology lecturer will present approaches to refining skills for leading personnel. Drawing on examples from his own practice, he will outline the principal directions for shaping the specific relationships between manager and subordinate, the reasons for their complexity, what they depend on, and what they influence. Through dialogue with him, as well as through situational games and simulations that form part of the training, participants will gain insight into the characteristics of an individual approach to different types of subordinates and will acquire clarity regarding the fullest use of their qualities. Among the main focal points of the training seminar will be technologies for effective communication in the process of leading an organization, as well as the psychological mechanisms of managerial persuasive communication. Who Is Vasily Skvortsov?

Vasily Skvortsov is a professional business trainer and Candidate of Psychological Sciences of Russia. He graduated in psychology from the Faculty of Psychology at Moscow State University "M.V. Lomonosov". He specialized in management psychology and social psychology. Until 2002, he was a leading lecturer at the Center for Human Resources Technologies "XXI Century". He has more than twenty years of experience consulting managers of leading Russian companies on management matters. He delivers a series of educational sessions at Moscow State University "M.B. Lomonosov" and at the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation. The principal topics he teaches include: "The Psychology of Leadership and Subordination", "Conflict Management in the Organization", "The Psychology of Persuasive Communication", and "Fundamentals of Rhetoric".
