Professor Borislav Borisov

On 22 February, our guest was Professor Borislav Borisov – Rector of the University of National and World Economy (UNSS) and Chairman of SSI. The meeting was exceptionally interesting. We spoke about education in Bulgaria, the motivation of young people to study, and the quality of higher education. We discussed the possibility of enhancing the managerial skills and competencies of Bulgarian entrepreneurs in line with the changing environment. Professor Borisov highlighted the role and importance of the regulatory framework governing business activities, the state's tax policy, and the quality of public administration services in support of business and production. We shared the view that young entrepreneurs need additional systematic development of knowledge on an ongoing basis, without stepping away from their business, and we will seek points of contact and opportunities in this regard.
