Mrs. Eva Zecheva Visits

On 18 February 2014, Mrs. Eva Zecheva, Chair of the State Agency for Child Protection, visited President's Club. From Mrs. Zecheva we learned what the process of deinstitutionalization of care for children in disadvantaged situations actually entails, namely removing them from "homes" in their familiar form and placing them in family-type centers. We also learned that one of the greatest challenges facing young adults who leave institutions is the inability to establish themselves professionally due to a lack of appropriate education and training.
